Sam Mossman, a serious fisherman for 50 years, has wet a line in most New Zealand waters, and many other parts of the world. He has written on the subject for 40 years, being published in newspapers and magazines in New Zealand, Australia, and the USA. He has eight books to his name as well as making contributions to many more – including the prestigious International Game Fish Association's yearbook World Record Game Fishes (he's held six world records himself). Sam is currently the special projects editor of NZ Fishing News.
