Author(s): Darryn George
This superb publication features George’s paintings from 2004-2010. Darryn George has gained a reputation for mixing geometric abstraction with Maori patterning. His work is often monumental in scale. This monograph features many of these works in its 114 pages, with full colour reproductions. Included also is a great essay by Lara Strongman and an insightful interview by Dr Deidre Brown. This is a great book for those interested in contemporary New Zealand art.
