The Ranger's apprentice is about to be sold into slavery- but help can arrive from the most unexpected places. Will and Evanlyn are bound for Skandia as the captives of the fearsome Skandian wolfship captain, Erak. Halt has sworn to rescue Will and he will do anything to keep his promise, even defy his King.
John Flanagan began his working life in advertising before moving to freelance writing and script editing. He has written TV jingles, brochures, corporate videos and comedy-drama for television and is one of Australia's more prolific television writers. John wrote the first book in the RANGER'S APPRENTICE series to encourage his 12-year-old son to enjoy reading, and then went on to write three further volumes. His son, now in his mid-twenties, has been an enthusiastic reader of all four books. John lives in the beachside Sydney suburb of Manly.
